What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is an approach to fitness which focuses on quick, group-based, high intensity workouts which are geared to help you burn fat while maintaining and building lean muscle mass.CrossFit focuses on using “functional” exercises and movements which will get you in shape for whatever your needs require, whether you are old or young, a professional athlete or a stay-at-home parent. The CrossFit methodology will encourage you to push yourself to your maximum potential, and while you exercise in a group, your workout will be tailored to meet your personal needs.
CrossFit utilizes Running, Rowing, Kettlebell Lifts, Olympic Lifts, Body-weight and Gymnastic Movements, and a variety of other training methods to get practitioners ready for anything. By embracing the idea of “random” workouts, we ensure that anyone who trains at our gym will be ready for anything that crosses their path.
We are dedicated to improving and developing the “10 Aspects of Fitness” which are exhibited in every sport, as well as everyday activities.
